La primera vez macOS lo va a bloquear. Es normal y se arregla en 30 segundos.

El programa está firmado por nosotros, pero no pagamos la certificación de Apple. macOS desconfía de todo lo que no venga de su tienda y avisa. No es un virus ni está roto: sólo hay que darle permiso una vez.

Pasos

  1. Descomprime el archivo y arrastra NQ Trade Agent a tu carpeta de Aplicaciones.
    No lo dejes en Descargas ni en el Escritorio si usas iCloud: iCloud lo modifica y entonces sí deja de abrirse de verdad.
  2. Haz doble clic. Saldrá un aviso diciendo que no se puede abrir. Dale a Listo y no toques nada más.
  3. Abre Ajustes del Sistema → Privacidad y seguridad.
  4. Baja hasta el apartado Seguridad. Verás un renglón que dice que se bloqueó «NQ Trade Agent». Pulsa Abrir igualmente.
    Ese renglón sólo aparece si acabas de intentar abrirlo. Si no lo ves, vuelve al paso 2.
  5. Confirma con tu contraseña o con Touch ID. Ya está: a partir de ahora se abre con doble clic como cualquier app.

Si prefieres hacerlo de una vez desde el Terminal

Un solo comando, y te ahorras los pasos 2 a 5. Abre el Terminal, pega esto y dale Enter:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/NQ Trade Agent.app"

Le quita la marca de «descargado de internet». Después se abre con doble clic.

Descargar para Windows
El paso que más falla: hay que EXTRAER el archivo.

Si lo ejecutas sin extraer, Windows lo abre desde una carpeta temporal, no encuentra el programa y da un error largo. No es culpa tuya, pero hay que extraerlo antes.

Pasos

  1. Instala Python desde python.org/downloads.
    EN LA PRIMERA PANTALLA, marca la casilla «Add Python to PATH» antes de darle a instalar. Si no la marcas, el agente no lo encuentra y no arranca. Es el fallo más habitual.
  2. Click derecho en el archivo que descargaste → Extraer todo…
    Trabaja desde la carpeta que aparece, no desde el zip.
  3. Doble clic en Iniciar Bot.bat, dentro de esa carpeta.
  4. Windows dirá «Windows protegió tu PC». Pulsa Más información y luego Ejecutar de todas formas.
    Mismo motivo que en Mac: no está certificado. El botón «Más información» está en letra pequeña y es fácil no verlo.
  5. La primera vez tarda 2-4 minutos instalándose. Luego se abre la ventana del agente.
Aquí no hay nada que descargar. Se instala con una línea.

En Linux los programas se instalan desde la terminal, y una Chromebook lleva Linux por dentro. Si tienes una Chromebook, el paquete de Windows no te va a funcionar: ChromeOS no ejecuta esos archivos. Esta es tu forma.

Antes de empezar, sólo si tienes Chromebook

  1. Abre Configuración → Avanzada → Desarrolladores.
  2. En Entorno de desarrollo de Linux, pulsa Activar y acepta.
    Tarda unos minutos y descarga medio giga. Sólo se hace una vez.
  3. Cuando termine se abre sola una ventana negra: esa es la Terminal.

¿No ves la opción «Desarrolladores»? Entonces tu Chromebook no admite Linux —las anteriores a 2019 no— o es una Chromebook de empresa o de colegio y el administrador lo tiene bloqueado. En ese caso el agente no puede correr ahí: necesitarás otra computadora. Desde la Chromebook sí puedes ver las señales en la web y operar a mano.

La instalación

  1. Abre la Terminal.
    En Chromebook está en el menú de aplicaciones, dentro de Aplicaciones de Linux.
  2. Copia esta línea entera, pégala y pulsa Enter: 
    curl -fsSL https://nqtradethebot.com/instalar-linux.sh | bash
    Para pegar en la terminal: Ctrl+Shift+V. El Ctrl+V normal no funciona ahí.
  3. Te pedirá tu contraseña para instalar lo que falte.
    Es la de tu usuario de Linux. Al escribirla no se ve nada, ni puntos ni asteriscos: es normal, escribe y pulsa Enter.
  4. Tarda entre 2 y 4 minutos. Cuando termine pone «LISTO».
  5. Busca NQ Trade Agent en tu menú de aplicaciones.
    En Chromebook aparece dentro de la carpeta Aplicaciones de Linux, junto a la Terminal.

Si algo falla

El instalador se detiene y dice exactamente qué le faltó, en una línea. Haz una foto de la terminal y mándala a soporte.

Para volver a intentarlo, pega la misma línea otra vez: no rompe nada si ya estaba a medio instalar.

Cuando ya se abre

  1. Entra con el mismo correo y contraseña de esta web.
  2. Marca Operar REAL cuando quieras órdenes de verdad. Arranca en modo prueba a propósito.
  3. En la web, activa tu bot con el botón Reactivar bot. Si está en pausa, el agente no entra en nada — y te lo dirá en su registro.
Deja el programa abierto y la computadora encendida.

Si cierras la ventana, apagas el equipo o se suspende, el bot deja de operar. Las órdenes que ya estén puestas en el bróker aguantan con su stop, pero no se abrirán nuevas ni se moverá el stop hacia positivo.

The first time, macOS will block it. That is normal and takes 30 seconds to fix.

The program is signed by us, but we do not pay for Apple's certification. macOS distrusts anything that does not come from its store and shows a warning. It is not a virus and it is not broken: you only need to allow it once.

Steps

  1. Unzip the file and drag NQ Trade Agent into your Applications folder.
    Do not leave it in Downloads or on the Desktop if you use iCloud: iCloud modifies it and then it really does stop opening.
  2. Double-click it. A warning will say it cannot be opened. Click Done and do not touch anything else.
  3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  4. Scroll down to the Security section. You will see a line saying “NQ Trade Agent” was blocked. Click Open Anyway.
    That line only shows up if you have just tried to open it. If you do not see it, go back to step 2.
  5. Confirm with your password or Touch ID. Done: from now on it opens with a double-click like any other app.

If you prefer to do it in one go from Terminal

One command, and you skip steps 2 to 5. Open Terminal, paste this and press Enter:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/NQ Trade Agent.app"

It removes the “downloaded from the internet” flag. After that it opens with a double-click.

The step that fails the most: you have to EXTRACT the file.

If you run it without extracting, Windows opens it from a temporary folder, cannot find the program and shows a long error. It is not your fault, but you have to extract it first.

Steps

  1. Install Python from python.org/downloads.
    ON THE FIRST SCREEN, tick the “Add Python to PATH” box before clicking install. If you do not tick it, the agent cannot find it and will not start. It is the most common mistake.
  2. Right-click the file you downloaded → Extract All…
    Work from the folder that appears, not from the zip.
  3. Double-click Iniciar Bot.bat, inside that folder.
  4. Windows will say “Windows protected your PC”. Click More info and then Run anyway.
    Same reason as on Mac: it is not certified. The “More info” button is in small print and easy to miss.
  5. The first time it takes 2-4 minutes to install. Then the agent window opens.
There is nothing to download here. It installs with one line.

On Linux, programs are installed from the terminal, and a Chromebook runs Linux under the hood. If you have a Chromebook, the Windows package will not work for you: ChromeOS does not run those files. This is your way.

Before you start, only if you have a Chromebook

  1. Open Settings → Advanced → Developers.
  2. Under Linux development environment, click Turn on and accept.
    It takes a few minutes and downloads about half a gigabyte. You only do this once.
  3. When it finishes, a black window opens by itself: that is the Terminal.

Don't see the “Developers” option? Then your Chromebook does not support Linux —those from before 2019 do not— or it is a work or school Chromebook and the administrator has blocked it. In that case the agent cannot run there: you will need another computer. From the Chromebook you can still see the signals on the website and trade by hand.

The installation

  1. Open the Terminal.
    On a Chromebook it is in the app launcher, inside Linux apps.
  2. Copy this whole line, paste it and press Enter: 
    curl -fsSL https://nqtradethebot.com/instalar-linux.sh | bash
    To paste in the terminal: Ctrl+Shift+V. The normal Ctrl+V does not work there.
  3. It will ask for your password to install whatever is missing.
    It is the one for your Linux user. Nothing shows while you type it, no dots or asterisks: that is normal, type it and press Enter.
  4. It takes 2 to 4 minutes. When it finishes it says “LISTO” (done).
  5. Look for NQ Trade Agent in your app menu.
    On a Chromebook it appears inside the Linux apps folder, next to the Terminal.

If something fails

The installer stops and says exactly what was missing, in one line. Take a photo of the terminal and send it to support.

To try again, paste the same line again: it does not break anything if it was half installed.

Once it opens

  1. Log in with the same email and password you use on this website.
  2. Tick Operar REAL (trade live) when you want real orders. It starts in test mode on purpose.
  3. On the website, turn your bot on with the Resume trading button. If it is paused, the agent does not enter anything — and it will say so in its log.
Keep the program open and the computer on.

If you close the window, shut down the computer or it goes to sleep, the bot stops trading. Orders already placed at the broker hold with their stop, but no new ones will open and the stop will not be moved into profit.
